Wow! This book starts out with a bang…literally. I was drawn in by the quick wit and sharp scenes with a gasp.

Chloe is a hard-headed young woman who knows what she wants and won’t stop until she gets it, but there is a certain vulnerability – nay, a naivety – when it comes to that. Her love of art has drawn her to become an apprentice tattooist in the shop Ink’d Up but not everyone is happy about it.

Timmy has a past. One he would rather not subject sweet and innocent Chloe to but he’s unable to stay away especially when she’s threatened by a dangerous man. Tensions are high between the two.

I really enjoyed this book and have rated it five stars. The characters and their personalities are well described and make you root for them. The storyline is fast paced and keeps the reader on the edge of their seats.

Will they follow their hearts and succumb to their desires?
