REVIEW by Bleeding Heart Blog
About Last Night by Belle Aurora follows the story of shy Mia and her quest to lose her virginity. Not only has she chosen her brother’s best friend for the task but he’s also a male escort.
Mia’s crush on her brother’s best friend has lasted for years, since he made her feel beautiful the first time she met him when she was an overweight young woman. Flash forward and she’s lost her weight to the point that he doesn’t recognize her when they finally do meet. Their relationship starts through emails and progresses to texts and phone calls. These exchanges show insight into the characters and soon you are left rooting for them.
It’s a refreshing story, one that I haven’t seen before. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect of a male escort falling in love with a woman. It includes a relationship with a man who sleeps with others for sex not to mention the first time had her paying for sex. However, Belle has made it so the story feels natural and the characters are strong enough to carry the plot line along.
A lot happens in this novel, and as such, it can be quite lengthy, but I think it is well paced throughout to not rush the story along.

Humorous romance novels.

Belle never thought she would write. It had never interested her until recently. Friend-Zoned began to form and in February 2013 Belle typed the words Chapter One. And she fell in love.
