Wow, oh wow. This book had me clutching at my chest for air. I have heard of stories of this happening but never would I have imagined it happening between blogger and author. It hit home. Hard.

Ava’s writing is poetic, almost lyrical, as she describes what it is like to be an imperfect woman. A woman full of fear and anxiety and who had to break free of her shackles to feel alive.

This book takes the reader on a tumultuous ride through happiness, self-worth, depravity and rejoice. I couldn’t put it down.

Ava is a woman trapped in a marriage she feels she is drowning in. Her husband doesn’t pay attention to her, instead, she swallows herself in books and blogging. When the mysterious Ryder comes along, he is everything she needs. He tells her exactly what she needs to hear, that she is worth it, that her flaws are what makes her unique. What woman doesn’t want to hear that? Especially if she gets nothing at home.

What happens next is nothing short of amazing.

This book is about self-discovery, building yourself up once you’ve hit rock bottom and it’s a book every author and/or blogger needs to read.

For the women out there that don’t feel wanted or loved, this one is for you.
